We participate with traditional Medicare and straight Maryland Medical Assistance (Maryland Medicaid). If you have insurance with traditional Medicare (not Medicare Advantage) or directly with the State of Maryland Medicaid we will bill them for services rendered.
If we are out of network (OON) to your insurance – i.e. if we do not participate with your insurance – we may work with your insurance to ascertain out of network coverage. Our fees are the most competitive for our specialty locally and nationally.
OON and uninsured patients are expected to pay at time of service. You may receive reimbursement for all or a portion of your fee from your insurance company.
Services may include:
- Consultation for that visit
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound for interventional assistance – if applicable – for that visit
- Injection therapeutic – if applicable – for only one body location ( e.g. one joint, one nerve, one location of soft tissue Prolotherapy, etc.) for that visit
- Viscosupplementation – if applicable – per joint has a surcharge to the fee above
- Neuromuscular electrodiagnostics
We will review with you all fees in advance of evaluations and procedures.
If we need to order for lab studies (e.g. blood, urine, etc.), imagings or other tests – as applicable – we will send the order to a service provider -preferably one that participates with your insurance. We do no labs, imagings or other tests – other than musculoskeletal ultrasound and electrodiagnostics – at our office.
